  • How can I get there? Are there buses to Lansdowne & TD Place?

    Certainly. Check out the TD place guide for your best options.

    Free OC Transpo to and from the event 3 hours before and after the event Friday and Saturday. You must show a valid festival ticket.

  • Ticket Options

    General Admission festival passes will be available for purchase online and available onsite at the City of OM box office in the Aberdeen Pavilion on festival day.

  • Can I pick up my wristband ahead of time?

    Hate waking up early? Don’t sweat it! Our early-bird wristband pick up will be open at City of Om box office on Friday May 31st from 3PM until 6PM. Wristbands must be put on during pickup. You can also pick up your bracelet anytime throughout the day on Saturday, June 1st.

  • Where do I pick up my wristband?

    Please bring your ticket to the Aberdeen Pavilion to exchange for your wristband and to pick up your VIP Bag (with VIP ticket).

    Wristbands can be picked inside the Aberdeen on Friday, May 31st between at 4PM and 6PM or on Saturday, June 1st on the day of the festival starting at 7:00AM. The Karma Yogis will be at the entrances checking wristbands and helping protect your karma, so please make sure you purchase a ticket if you want to participate in the classes! 

  • When will the events run throughout the day?

    Classes will begin at 7:30AM on Saturday, June 1st and run until 7PM. There will be classes starting at all different times so you can pick and chose your practice and downtime!

    On Friday, May 31st get head-start into a weekend of yoga and wellness, with a 60 minute Ritual class with a DJ Ottawa and complimentary Dominion City Seltzer.

    The 5km run will being at 8AM.

  • What should I wear?

    Wear weather-appropriate comfortable clothing that allows you to move is best. Don’t forget to rock your own unique style!

  • What should I bring?

    Bring as little as possible to the event to keep things simple! Here are the essentials:

    • Yoga Mat*

    • Sunscreen

    • Cash/Credit/Debit

    • Your favourite humans

    A cell phone is a great way to take photos and stay in touch with friends during the festival, however we ask that you please turn your phone off or on silent during yoga classes and workshops. Be present for your practice and mindful of others!

    *A limited amount of yoga mats and reusable water bottles available for purchase onsite.

  • What about bad weather?

    We are no strangers to unpredictable climates; the festival is RAIN OR SHINE!  In the event of severe inclement weather, the outdoor yoga classes will be relocated to indoor venues onsite.

  • What level of fitness or yoga do you need to be at to attend?

    Yoga and wellness is for EVERYBODY! City of Om has something for everyone. From expert to curious, newbies to experienced yogis alike!  Listen to your body, go at your own pace and have fun!   

  • How accessible is the event?

    City of Om 2023 is an accessible event that offers services to make the event more accessible to all attendees. Your ticket allows you to ride OC Transpo for free and Para-Transpo drop off is available. There is no parking onsite during the festival. The accessibility drop-off location is along Exhibition Way near the South West corner of the Aberdeen Pavilion. Festival terrain is largely flat, with paved pathways, and there are accessible washrooms onsite. Patrons with a disability who require an attendant are welcome to bring one attendant to the festival at no extra cost; please visit the ticket booth upon arrival.  

    * Please note that the festival does not provide wheelchairs for patron use at the festival.

  • What is open to the general public?

    The Artisan & Vendor Village and Lil' Omies Kids Zone is open to the public. A festival ticket is required to participate in the classes on the Great Lawn, inside the Horticulture Building, Aberdeen Pavilion, Speakers Series, North Tent and inside TD Place.

  • I’d like to volunteer! How do I apply?

    Volunteer Applications open on April 14th, 2024. As a valued volunteer, your commitment and dedication play a crucial role in the success of our event. We kindly request that you make yourself available for a 5-hour shift between Friday, May 31st, and Saturday, June 1st. In appreciation of your contribution, we are delighted to offer you an exclusive OM branded volunteer t-shirt or tank top and a general admission pass to the festival and 1x meal during the day.

  • 5K Run - What is included in the Fun Run?

    The 5k Fun Run includes:

    · A well-marked route along the picturesque Rideau Canal;

    · A cheer squad to encourage you along the way;

    · Bag check at Aberdeen Pavilion;

    · A treat from Pure Kitchen at the finish line.

  • 5K Run - Who can run with me?

    The 5k Fun Run is open to everyone! Runners can bring their pets and children in strollers along with them on the run. Pets must be on-leash and under control at all times during the run.

  • Will Queen Elizabeth be closed on Festival Day? (NCC Bikeweekends!)
