When will the events run throughout the day?

  • Outdoor Yoga Classes on the Great Lawn from 8AM until 5PM

  • Indoor Yoga Classes in the PranaShanti District (Horticulture Building) & Yogatown (Aberdeen Paviion) & Pure Yoga Blacklight Tent from 8AM until 7PM

  • Workshops/Classes (East Court + Whole Foods Café Sessions) from 8AM until 5:30PM

  • Artisan & Vendor Village from 9AM until 7PM

What is the Nama-State of Mind Friday Class?

The Nama-State of Mind Presence Class will be hosted on Friday, May 31st in the Aberdeen Pavilion. This will be an intimate yoga class lead by a special guest with kombucha and wine and is the perfect opportunity to connect with your community before the festival kicks-off on June 1st. You must purchase a VIP Presence Pass to gain access to this class.

How much are tickets?

General Admission festival passes will be available for purchase online until Friday May 31st, 2019 at 10PM.

  1. Day Pass: $ 55.00/ $ 65.00

  2. VIP Presence Pass: $ 150.00 / $ 160.00

  3. Children Under 12: Free!

A limited amount of tickets may be available onsite at the ticket booth on festival day (unless we are SOLD OUT!) for a cost of $65 + service fees.  Save money and guarantee your spot by purchasing your ticket online in advance!

* Passes will be sold at each price level until that allotment is gone, at which time the price will move to the next price level. Only 100 tickets available for the VIP Presence Pass. Ticket pricing subject to service fees. All tickets are final sale. No refunds/exchanges.*

What do the tickets include?

Day Pass: General Admission to all yoga classes/workshops, preregistration for classes 1 week before the festival

VIP Presence Pass: Preregistration for classes 2 weeks before the festival, reserved line for classes, priority access to classes you have preregistered for, VIP Swag Bag, Access to Nama-State of Mind Class (limited space) & VIP Mala Wristband!

How will I purchase goods from the vendors?

Don’t forget to show our vendors some love! Many of the vendors will be equipped to process payments in cash, debit, or credit. Lansdowne Park boasts several bank machines onsite for your convenience, however it is always a good idea to take out cash ahead of time.

Where do I pick up my wristband?

Please bring your print-at-home ticket to the TD Place Box Office (located outside Gate 3 of TD Place Stadium) to exchange for your wristband. 

Wristbands can be picked up at the ticket booth on the day of the festival starting at 7:30AM. The box office is located at Gate 3 of TD Place Stadium and info booth and VIP swag bag pickup is located inside the Aberdeen Pavilion. The Karma Yogis will be at the entrances checking wristbands and helping protect your karma, so please make sure you purchase a ticket if you want to participate in the classes!

Can I pick up my wristband ahead of time?

Hate waking up early? Don’t sweat it! Our early-bird wristband pick up will be open at TD Place box office on Friday May 31st, 2019 from 10AM until 6PM. Wristbands must be put on during pickup.

What is open to the general public?

The Artisan & Vendor Village is open to the public! A festival ticket is required to participate in the classes on the Great Lawn, inside the PranaShanti District (Horticulture Building), Yogatown (Aberdeen Pavilion), and Pure Yoga Blacklight Tent, and the Meditation Zone.

What about bad weather?

We are no strangers to unpredictable climates; the festival is RAIN OR SHINE!  In the event of severe inclement weather, the outdoor yoga classes will be relocated to indoor venues onsite.

Is there a minimum age to attend City of Om?

City of Om 2019 is a family-friendly all-ages event! Entry is FREE for children under 12 years of age, pending they are accompanied by a guardian.  We do strongly recommend designating a family meeting space, like our Little Om’ies Kids Zone, in case you become separated.

What level of fitness or yoga do you need to be at to attend?

Yoga and wellness is for EVERYBODY! City of Om 2019 has something for everyone. From expert to curious, newbies to experienced yogis alike!  Listen to your body, go at your own pace and have fun!

Will there be a lost & found? 

Our lost & found is located at the Info Booth inside the Aberdeen Pavilion. Lost something? Check there! Found something? Bring it there!

How accessible is the event?

City of Om 2019 is an accessible event that offers services to make the event more accessible to all attendees. Your ticket allows you to ride OC Transpo for free and Para-Transpo drop off is available. There is no parking onsite during the festival. The accessibility drop-off location is along Exhibition Way near the South West corner of the Aberdeen Pavilion. Festival terrain is largely flat, with paved pathways, and there are accessible washrooms onsite. Patrons with a disability who require an attendant are welcome to bring one attendant to the festival at no extra cost; please visit the ticket booth upon arrival.  

* Please note that the festival does not provide wheelchairs for patron use at the festival.

What other services are available?

We have a number of services and amenities in place to make your festival experience as comfortable and safe as possible. Paramedics will be on site at the First Aid tent, free yoga mat cleaning stations will be set up throughout the festival, and more!

How will I get to and from?

Your event ticket grants you free access on any OC Transpo bus starting three hours before the event until three hours after the event. Bike Valet is also available behind the Pure Yoga Blacklight Tent.

What should I wear?

Wear weather-appropriate comfortable clothing that allows you to move is best. Don’t forget to rock your own unique style!

What else should I bring?

Bring as little as possible to the event to keep things simple! Here are the essentials:

  • Yoga Mat*

  • Sunscreen

  • Cash/Credit/Debit

  • Your favourite humans

A cell phone is a great way to take photos and stay in touch with friends during the festival, however we ask that you please turn your phone off or on silent during yoga classes and workshops. Be present for your practice and mindful of others!

*A limited amount of yoga mats and reusable water bottles available for purchase onsite.
