A strong capable core can make a big difference.

Physically, in the way our bodies are supported through movement, and emotionally, in the way the outside world is related to. On an energetic level, our core is made up of a cauldron of emotions often referred to as our “gut feeling”.

Our yoga practice can help to strengthen our core, making everyday things like sitting, standing, playing sports both safer and more fun. It can also help us to listen and get clear on what our “gut feeling” is telling us, helping us to gain more clarity on what it really means to follow your intuition.

Class with be active enough to help you move through any residual stagnation, but also introspective and quiet, allowing space to re-connect with your true essence and reflect on your ah-ha's of the day.

Freedom Flow for Neck and Shoulders

The perfect blend of tiny yoga lecture, mellow practice and meditation for the beginning of your City of Om day, forming an inquiry into how spaces are created that support wellness and kindness.

Both yoga and Buddhism use the concepts of sukha and dukha, though they have multiple translations, we can think of them as supportive and unsupportive space. Supportive spaces are those you want to lean into, those that help you relax into the moment and do the necessary work of taking care of yourself.

Supportive spaces help you move into the rest of your world to do good work; they offer a ripple effect of benefit.

An informative rolling class designed to target stiff and/or aching muscle tissue to facilitate better movement.

Information is given throughout the class about self-care and biomechanics to help better understand our bodies strengths and weakness.

The class will focus on hips and low back for the first portion and close out with shoulder care towards the end.

Only 250 Yoga Tune Up therapy balls so first come first served. Please note you are welcome to bring your own Tune Up balls.

 

Yoga & its Evolution

The definition of “Yoga” has evolved constantly over the last few millennia, and enormously in the last 100 years.

As a large emphasis gets placed on the physical practice of yoga, it’s fair to ask the question, “are we still even doing 'yoga'?” This session will explore how one can staying rooted in the tradition of yoga, while embracing the joys, challenges and evolution of the modern physical practice.

The majority of this class will involve discussion, with some simple meditation, ultimately examining how the MOST can be made of our respective time on the mat.

Journey into Unity.

Wade will sing and perform his many positive and life affirming mantra and melodic chant and songs. Be prepared to be taken on a soundscape of mantra, prayer, and singing from the heart. Audience participation as respondents to chants back and forth.

As the mind settles, the heart opens; all that is left for there to do is let the music and sound take you deeper into the experience of your true Self.
